    Welcome to Spring!

In the field, Justin and his team have been very busy making great advances in the Organic broadacre world!
Our first inter-row cultivator has been ploughing weeds from between the rows of cereal crop. This means we can "dig" the weeds out of the crop, add compost to the soil structure, and give it the best chance to grow during the warmer weather of Spring.

In the chicken range, we're growing the tastiest chicken we've ever tried!

Here's the trip down memory-lane.... If you're over 40, you might be able to answer yes.... give it a try!

Remember when chicken had incredible flavour?
And the texture of the meat was firm, had even fat content and strong frames?
There was no SOY or soy by-product in the chicken feed?
And the chickens were free to range, scratching and pecking bugs and grubs?
And animal welfare was on the top of the list: not high-profit, high-turnover sheds of meat birds?

Our Sommerlad heritage-breed chickens are a "very special chicken".
They are old-fashioned, take longer to grow, have more care, more space, more texture, more taste!
And the best bit? These chickens will be available for online ordering SOON,
and at the Glenelg Organic Corner Store Market from 21st September in South Australia.

We care about transparency, provenence, high welfare and food miles.
Your chickens are Certified Organic on farm, PROOF certified and grown right here at Marama in South Australia!

Don't forget, we'd love to hear your thoughts on our current survey... it ends on 3rd September.
Enter the draw at the end of the survey to WIN
